The Pen Llŷn Ultras

Carole Baskin Made Me Run More Than A Marathon Virtual Challenge

Carole Baskin Challenge

Darn it! All I wanted to do was Run or Walk a Marathon distance over 30 Days and I’d get a nice shiny medal! Because of Carole F***N Baskin I’ve got to cover at least a Tigers Whisker more than a Marathon to win my medal and a chance for some prizes!

You can start your Marathon distance when ever you like! You have 30 days from starting to complete and it must be more than a Marathon distance due to that meddling Carole Baskin!

Upload a screen shot of your final distance and then your hard earned medal will be sent out to you!

Due to covid-19 please allow extra time for delivery.

See the Beatifully Brutal Virtual Races Facebook page for more info.

The “At The Checkpoint” Podcast is the place to be for Mountain, Trail and Coastal Running interviews.

Tucked away beyond Snowdonia’s craggiest peaks with the Irish Sea on one side and Cardigan Bay on the other, the Llŷn Peninsula has a distinctive, unspoiled character that’s all its own. Its sunny southern coast draws walkers, wakeboarders, and dinghy-sailors There are several islands dotted around the peninsula, with the famous ancient pilgrimage site of Bardsey Island, at its tip and can be seen in all its beauty during the race. The islands and coastline of Llŷn are a haven for wildlife and an area of outstanding natural beauty. Seals and dolphins are common sites around the peninsula. All of this makes a perfect backdrop for the Pen Llŷn Ultra.
